The rooms at Le Chalet Champenois are so cozy and inviting! I loved the unique decorations and the comfortable seating area where I could unwind after a long day. The parquet floor added a touch of elegance to the room, making it feel like a home away from home.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the private bathroom being equipped with only a bath or walk-in shower. But hey, I understand that some people might actually enjoy it, so it's just my opinion.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with beautiful wallpaper and delicate floral curtains that reminded me of my grandmother's home. The general areas of the hotel were also very well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate and relax during my stay. I appreciated that there were handrails in the corridors and ramps for easy access, which made it a comfortable and safe environment for senior people like me.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the staff in terms of activities specifically tailored for senior guests. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, it would have been wonderful if they had offered organized outings or events geared towards the interests and abilities of older individuals.

We had an amazing romantic escape in the beautiful French countryside. the rooms were very spacious and clean with stunning views of the surrounding area. the breakfast was delicious with fresh bread and pastries and the coffee was superb. the hosts were very welcoming and helpful, recommending the best local restaurants and providing us with maps to explore nearby champagne villages.
Although the location was peaceful, it was quite far from some of the main champagne towns and attractions. We had to drive quite far to reach some of the more popular champagne houses and restaurants, which was a bit inconvenient.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming little place atop a hill. The rooms were nice, but what really stood out was the exceptional service and warm hospitality of the hosts, William and Edwin. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and even helped us book a Champagne tour. The location was perfect, with many Champagne villages and towns within easy driving distance. We especially appreciated that they were accommodating to us as guests with children.
Felt like being home, no complaints at all.
